GWg is a nonprofit organization with a history of investing into social enterprises, developing new social innovation models and providing sustainable IT solutions to other nonprofit organizations.
GroundWork group's 2016 Community Impact
• Over 500 nonprofit leaders were educated on best practices in technology.
• Over $45 million was raised and processed through applications built and managed by GWg.
• Over 5,000 nonprofit leaders and 300,000 volunteers, donors and event participants served our community using GroundWork group applications.
• Nonprofits running on GWg technology addressed the needs of 250,000 people in need.
Board Development Program 10th Anniversary.
Board adopts new strategic vision to grow social impact through strategic partnerships.
Enters into joint social enterprise development of ds-connex with the Wells Foundation and a new fundraising platform, Stride.
Focus shift from Member conference to workshops, enlisted tech experts to provide instruction.
GWg achieved goal of social enterprise self-sustainability, ending FY 2010 having covered 99% of all expenses with earned revenue.
GWg published The Impact of Technology on Nonprofit Organizational Effectiveness Report to the Central Ohio community.
GWg 5th Annual Central Ohio Nonprofit IT Conference. 43 sponsors show their support for the value GWg provides to the community.
Announced our first Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Platform.
Refined the GWg Continuum of Maturity
GWg flagship offering GWg services went live with it's first customer.
GWg surpasses 100 nonprofit members.
Launched Nonprofit IT Forum to host monthly luncheon of nonprofit IT professionals.
Groundwork group was founded and hired first employee.

UWCO & The Wells Foundation created a community initiative to help Columbus nonprofits leverage technology to serve the community.
